This Refund Policy explains when Pulse (Miamisdistributor LLC) issues refunds for Primary Tickets sold on Pulse, Pulse wristband orders, and booking-related payments processed through Pulse. It is part of our Terms of Service. Where an event listing states a more specific refund rule that is allowed by law, that listing rule applies; otherwise, this page applies.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer (often several business days after we process the refund). Contact app@movinpulse.com for help.
1. Cancelled Events (Primary Tickets)
If an event is cancelled by the venue or organizer and is not rescheduled, you are entitled to a full refund of what you paid for that ticket on Pulse. Including the ticket price and Pulse fees charged for that purchase.
- We aim to process cancelled-event refunds within 30 days of the cancellation being confirmed to Pulse (or sooner when the venue initiates a refund through the Service).
- If you paid on Pulse and the cancellation is confirmed, you do not need a separate "request" for us to start the refund. But emailing us speeds things up if something looks stuck.
- This cancelled-event full-refund rule is intended to align with common U.S. consumer expectations (including California-style cancelled-event refunds). Where a stricter local rule applies, we follow the law.
2. Postponed or Materially Changed Events
- If an event is postponed (new date announced) or the venue/organizer materially changes the event (for example, date, venue, or headliner), you may request a refund instead of keeping the ticket for the new details.
- Request through the app where available, or email app@movinpulse.com with your order details. We process approved refunds within a reasonable period after the request is verified (typically within 30 days).
- Minor lineup changes that are not material may not qualify; we decide materiality in good faith based on the listing and what a reasonable buyer would expect.
3. Buyer's Remorse and Used Tickets
Except where required by law or stated on the listing, Primary Tickets are non-refundable if you simply change your mind, miss the event, are denied entry for failing an age or ID check, or violate venue rules. A scanned or used ticket is not refundable.
4. Third-Party Ticket Links
Some events discovered on Pulse link to tickets sold on other platforms (for example, Dice, Ticketmaster, Posh, or Eventbrite). Those purchases are with that seller and platform. Their refund rules apply, not this page. Pulse does not refund charges you paid to a third-party ticketing site.
5. Resale Marketplace (Where Enabled)
Pulse may offer a fan-to-fan ticket resale marketplace in the future or in limited rollouts. Resale is not currently enabled for general use. If and when it is enabled for a transaction, refund and dispute rules will be disclosed in-app for that purchase and in the Terms (§9). Do not assume resale or resale refunds are available today.
6. Pulse Wristband Merch
Pulse sells NFC wristbands as merch / Pulse identifiers (merchant of record: Pulse). The all-in price shown at checkout includes the item and US shipping (currently $35 total: $30 item + $5 shipping), unless a different price is clearly disclosed.
- Damaged or wrong item on arrival: Contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos. We will replace the band or refund what you paid (including shipping), at our option.
- Change of mind: Unopened, unused wristbands may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. Original shipping is non-refundable unless we shipped the wrong item or the order arrived damaged. Return shipping is your responsibility unless we tell you otherwise.
- Claimed / linked bands:Once a wristband's identifier has been claimed and linked to a Pulse account, it is generally not returnable for change of mind (security and reassignment risk), except for defect/wrong-item cases above.
- Wristbands are not a stored-value wallet and do not hold ticket balance or cash unless we clearly offer and load that feature (we do not currently).
7. Artist Bookings
Pulse facilitates booking payments between venues and artists. Funds are processed by Stripe; Pulse is not a licensed escrow agent. Artist payout after the set and the 5% booking fee on top of the rate are as described in the Terms and at checkout.
- Set cancelled by the venue before performance(and not rescheduled under the booking terms): the artist fee held for that booking is refundable to the venue per the booking flow; Pulse's booking service fee for that cancelled set is refunded as well unless law or an express written exception says otherwise.
- Artist no-show(artist fails to perform without an agreed cancellation): the venue may request a refund of the artist fee through Pulse's booking dispute process. Outcomes depend on evidence available to us; Pulse's booking fee may be refunded when we determine the venue was not at fault.
- Venue no-show / venue cancels too late under the booking terms: artist payment and fee treatment follow the in-app booking terms and dispute process.
8. Pulse Pro and Other Fees
Pulse Pro subscription billing, cancellation, and refunds are as disclosed at checkout and in-app. Platform service fees are non-refundable except as required by law, as stated on this page (for example, fees included in a cancelled-event full refund), or as we expressly agree in writing.
9. How to Request a Refund
- Use in-app purchase or booking tools where a refund action is offered.
- Or email app@movinpulse.com with your account email, order or booking ID, and a short description of the issue.
