This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the Pulse Terms of Service (https://www.movinpulse.com/terms). It applies to everyone who uses the Pulse website, apps, and related services (the "Service"), operated by Miamisdistributor LLC ("Pulse," "we," "us," or "our"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Terms.
If you violate this AUP, we may remove content, limit features, suspend or terminate your account, and report activity to law enforcement when appropriate.
1. Illegal and Harmful Content
You may not use the Service to post, share, sell, promote, or facilitate:
- Anything illegal under applicable U.S. or local law.
- Fraud, phishing, identity theft, or financial scams.
- Child sexual exploitation or abuse material. Zero tolerance.
- Terrorism, violent extremism, or credible threats of violence.
- Illegal drugs, weapons trafficking, or other unlawful commerce.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery (including deepfakes). For removal requests, use our Copyright & Content Removal Policy (NCII / TAKE IT DOWN process).
2. Intellectual Property and Music in Videos
You must own or have the rights, licenses, and permissions needed for everything you upload. Including DJ set clips, event recaps, promotional videos, photos, and captions.
- Don't upload music, mixes, or video that you don't have the right to post. Playing a track in a club does not automatically give you the right to publish a recording of it on Pulse.
- Don't rip, re-upload, or monetize someone else's content without permission.
- Copyright complaints go through our DMCA process.
3. Impersonation and Misrepresentation
- Don't impersonate another person, artist, venue, brand, or Pulse staff.
- Don't claim a verified status, affiliation, or role you don't have.
- Don't use handles, bios, or profile media in a way that is likely to deceive others about who you are.
4. Harassment and Abuse
You may not:
- Harass, bully, stalk, dox, or threaten other users.
- Post hate speech or content that attacks people based on protected characteristics.
- Spam comments, DMs, bookings, or event listings.
- Coordinate brigading or mass-reporting to silence others in bad faith.
5. Scraping, Automation, and Interference
- Don't scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-export data from the Service without our prior written permission.
- Don't use bots, scripts, or automated tools to create accounts, buy tickets, book artists, or manipulate rankings, except for ordinary browser or assistive technology use.
- Don't probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems, or attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or security features.
- Don't interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by overloading, flooding, or injecting malware.
6. Age and Nightlife Events
- You must be at least 18to create a Pulse account. Don't create an account for someone under 18, and don't knowingly collect information from minors.
- Some nightlife events may require 21+ (or another age) at the door. That venue rule is separate from Pulse account eligibility. Respect posted age limits and ID checks.
7. Tickets, Wristbands, and Commerce
- Don't list, sell, or transfer tickets you don't have the right to sell.
- Don't misuse Pulse wristbands or NFC identifiers (for example, claiming a band that isn't yours, cloning identifiers, or using a band to spoof another profile).
- Don't use Pulse to run an unauthorized ticket resale business or to circumvent venue or platform rules.
8. Reporting
Report violations in-app where available, or email app@movinpulse.com. For copyright and NCII, use the processes at https://www.movinpulse.com/copyright.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP. Material changes will be noticed as described in the Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
